The image features the story of a Hawaiian Fisherman reeling in "The Big One", a huge marlin, from a fhishing canoe. 
The original artwork of this image is from Dietrich Varez, one of the most beloved artists in Hawaii known for his block prints througout the islands.  

The fishing image is engraved on solid Koa wood , surrounded by a handmade solid koa wood frame . And if that would not be beautiful enough, this table top art also comes with a Koa Wood Easel.   All handmade in our studio in Volcano, one at a time.
