AT HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK - The 2003 Na Mea Hawai‘i Hula Kahiko series continues in its third performance of the year. See traditional hula performed outdoors in a natural setting overlooking Kilauea Crater in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, featuring kumu hula Iwalani Kalima and Hula Halau O Kou Lima Nani E. Bring sitting mat, hat, sunscreen, rain gear.


JUNE

June		Saturday 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
AT HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK - The 2003 Na Mea Hawai‘i Hula Kahiko series continues it its fourth performance for the year. See traditional hula performed outdoors in a natural setting overlooking Kilauea Crater in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, featuring kumu hula Pekelo Day and He Kula Na Mea Hawai‘i. Bring sitting mat, hat, sunscreen, rain gear.

JULY

July 4th		10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Fourth of July Parade in Volcano! Parade, 9 AM, Post Office to Cooper Center Everyone is invited to be part of our classic parade! Strut your stuff, or your animals. Ride a bike, pull a wagon, walk, march, dance, sing, chant, or play music. Get creative. Anything goes. For more information call "Betsy Mitchel" at 808-967-8617 Special awards for Best Children's Unit (12 & under), Best Synchronized Unit, Best Animal Unit, Best Decorated on Wheels, Most Humorous, Best of the Best. Cooper Center Celebration after the parade 'til 2PM. Craft Fair featuring work by local artists, the ever popular dunking booth, nonstop entertainment, food: all your favorites, free games for little kids, lucky number drawings, book store open 'til noon. Come prepared to buy script for everything except crafts. All proceeds benefit community projects - and it's great fun!

See traditional hula performed outdoors in a natural setting overlooking Kilauea Crater in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, featuring kumu hula Roy Palacat and Na Pua Ha‘aheo O Kona. Bring sitting mat, hat, sunscreen, rain gear.

NOVEMBER

Volcano Village Art Studio Tour & Sale The Volcano Artists Hui and many other Artists and also Crafters open their Studios to the Public. Come visit Volcano and find unique gifts from a unique place. Even is held always on the last weekend of November ( Thanksgiving weekend)..
