The Artist's House is a cozy two-bedroom cottage nestled among towering tsugi trees. Perfect for couples, families and small groups, the Artist's House will delight you with its simple, old-Hawaii charm. A woodburning stove keeps things toasty on chilly winter evenings at our 3,800 foot elevation. In keeping with its tradition as an artist's home and studio, works by some of the Big Island's best-known artists grace the walls.

An easel and art supplies are available, should the Volcano experience ignite in you the same inspiration that has moved so many other visitors to this place. After a full day's adventure of exploring our wonderful island, return to the quiet solitude of the Artist's House. With such private, peaceful surroundings, one is guaranteed sweet dreams!
