The second bedroom ( 2 single beds) and private bath are downstairs, along with full kitchen, living room, laundry room with washer and dryer, and Satellite TV.  The radiant tile floor heating makes this house warm and cozy during our cool mountain nights.

My wife and I stayed at Turtle House for 12 days and enjoyed it thoroughly, from waking up in upstairs bedroom surrounded on all 4 sides by green rain forest to the prompt response if we running low on coffee or anything else.

It's quite secluded but still within a good walk of "downtown" Volcano, such as it is.   Appliances, showers, bathrooms all worked well, and the living room was very comfortable for sitting and reading. The lanai, too, when the sun warmed it.  Enjoyed the stock of Hawaiian music CDs.
