to a place where time went by at a slower pace. |

lava-stone fireplace (gas) while drinking a nice glass of wine
or hot-coco and talk-story about the adventures of the day. |

The living room has a great lava rock fireplace. Cuddle up
and watch a movie on the flat screen TV, or just read a good
book A great comfortable place to stay. |
There is even a real Ohia Tree in the middle of the house.

The fully remodeled kitchen features all new kitchen cabinets and appliance.
Microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, and all pots
and pants and utensils you may need are provided. |
The kitchen opens up to the cozy living room. Multiple
Ohia tree trunks ( see in picture) are used throughout the house
which is part of the unique ambience of this magical place.

There is a small reading nook off the kitchen that is perfect
for escaping and reading that new book, write a postcard back
home, or utilize it as a computer station to set up your laptop. |
There are several stained glass windows in this house which
are original to this unique place. |

From your back porch you overlook the lush green forest.
The outdoor furniture where handcrafted by the current owner
from Redwood left over from the original water tank on the
property, which adds to the old world charm of this
cottage. |

with luxury linens that make you feel very comfortable.

We had a lovely time in your enchanting cottage.
It was very romantic. The fireplaces are perfect . Bird watching
fun and the back porch perfect for supping a steaming hot cup of coco is
at best as good as it gets.
I love this place ! Staying here was a
treat. The tiffany fixtures were my favorite thing. We love
the fireplace and the yard is beautiful. I don't have gas
appliances on Oahu, and now I am spoiled.

The house is beautiful and has obviously been very
lovingly restored. The aesthetic is excellent . We are
originally from Ohio and the area is very reminiscent of my hometown .
It was a very nice change from all the activity of Oahu.

couldn't have fit our style better. We love the Ohia rails and
posts. We can tell such care and love went into this land and

What a great visit we have had! We have been
busy all day every day - spending little time in this amazing tucked
away house. We take away memories of six lava flows in the ocean
at night, a visit to the natural steam pools ( equipped with benches!),
surrounding in geo-thermally heated pools, a helicopter tour of the
volcano, a through tour of the Hilo coast, and visits to beautiful
beaches and overlooks. We'll remember our family time in this area
forever. Thanks for providing everything we could have needed and
for giving us such comfortable sleeping arrangements. The
delicious rain on the roof and the memory foam mattresses lulled us to
