$ 145 per night , double or single occupancy -  Two night minimum    Spacious living room with a double size futon couch/bed and a wood burning stove. Built in 1939, Hi'iaka House historically was used for a vacation home in an area where many families kept a country house. The Village was a cool spot in which to spend the summers.   Beautiful artworks grace the walls of Hi'iaka House, which is comfortably and invitingly furnished. The spacious living room has a double size futon couch/bed. The climate is that of an upland rainforest at about 3,700 feet. The landscaped grounds are abloom with camellias, azaleas, hydrangeas, ringed by bamboo, mature 'ohi'a trees, towering tsugi trees and dotted with the hapu'u ferns that also grace the understory of 'ohi'a forests in the Park.
Cuddle up in front of the Gas Fireplace	Dining Area We supply breakfast makings in an amply supplied kitchen, so you can cook up omelets to have with tropical muffins and island fruit and enjoy the view from the front porch.
There are three bedrooms, with queen-sized beds	Relax on the porch, a good place to sit with a cup of morning brew, while an apapane (Hawaiian bird) sings in the olapa tree.

ADDITIONAL : Hiiaka House (pronounced 'hee-ee-ah-kah') is stocked with a generous supply of breakfast foods. Located in Volcano Village, just a five-minute drive from Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park, a forty-minute drive from Hilo International airport, and a two-and-a-half hour drive from Kona's Keahole airport. All rates subject to 11.41% Hawai`i taxes. VISA, MasterCard, and Discover cards are accepted and are used to hold the reservation. However, payment by personal check, travelers checks or cash is preferred. Our cancellation policy is as follows: for cancellations within two months of the check-in date there will be a charge of 15% of the total cost; within one month, 50% of total cost, unless the house can be rebooked; within twenty-four hours, 100% of total cost. All rates and policies subject to change without notice.

Rate:	$ 145 per night , double or single occupancy  $ 15 each additional person per night,  One night stay - $ 20 additional State tax is added.  Please inquire about weekly and monthly rates.
Minimum Stay:	2 nights, unless just a single night between 2 bookings is available, or you book within 1 weeks prior to arrival. * One night bookings are accepted based on our discretion.
Included:	We supply breakfast makings in an amply supplied kitchen, so you can cook up omelets to have with tropical muffins and island fruit and enjoy the view from the front porch. Free use of washer and dryer in the basement.
Check-in / Check-Out:	Check-in is after 4 PM. Check-out is by 11 AM. Smoking is allowed only on covered porches. Please ask about our weekly rates.
Directions:	Hawaii 11 to Volcano Village.  Turn on "Haunani Road". Go straight across Old Volcano Road and Kilauea Road.  Hiiaka House is the 3rd house on the left.  (counted including the white house on the corner of Kilauea Road and Haunani Road).  There is a circular driveway, and the name "Hiiaka" is in large letters on the front of the house.    Print Out the Volcano Village Map
